![]() The only enemy left is the enemy with the spear. Head back to the bridge and kill them from that general area. That should cause the other two enemies to see you. Now, sneak up in the bushes on the left and take out the second grunt once the enemy with the spear is at the far end. Take out the grunt who is nearby with the torch from behind. The next area has a couple of grunts and a mini-boss. One of them will give you an Antidote Powder. Here you can find a person to eavesdrop on and two people to talk to. Now head back to the main path and hop over the right wall. Grapple over the small gate opposite the house to find a Bundled Jizo Statue. On the roof, you can pick up a Heavy Coin Purse.īefore heading all the way up the path, jump over the wall on the left to find a Man who you can talk to. Behind the building on the left are another two creepy roosters. There is another terrifying rooster on the left, just by where you walked in. Head back up the path, away from the Sculptor’s Idol. This will reduce the posture damage taken for a limited amount of time. This will open up the locked door from earlier. Head up the main path and kill the single enemy. Finally, on the left, you can find a Fistful of Ash. It will create the Flame Vent Prosthetic Tool which will shoot out a burst of fire. This Prosthetic Tool can be installed at the Sculptor in the Dilapidated Temple. Return to the main path, you will find a Pellet next to the last house, some Dousing Powder on the left, a Mibu Balloon of Wealth on the right, and the Flame Barrel on the fire itself. He likely knew Genichiro/Ishhin were on the way with reinforcements.Head behind the houses on the right and kill the remaining two enemies. Owl likely fled after he realized that he couldn't force Kuro to grant him the Dragon's Heritage (he didn't have a mortal blade to force the issue). It isn't until Emma drops the note that he realizes Kuro is still nearby and he gets the drive back to escape. He probably assumed he got lucky by surviving (unaware that Kuro granted him immortality) and that some random soldier got the drop on him and abducted Kuro (unaware it was Owl). Sekiro basically gets backstabbed, passes out, and wakes up locked away. I think this is why he seemed so depressed in that prison. His memory seems spotty because he never actually saw Owl and Kuro granted him immortality after he had already fainted from the wounds. While he's passing out, Kuro grants him his blood and makes him immortal. Immediately afterwards, Owl backstabs him and he passes out. ![]() He arrives late, takes out Juzuo, and beats Lady Butterfly. IMO, he remembers everything that happened in the first visit to the Hirata memory. There were obviously events that happened in between this time period, but Sekiro seems unable to remember them and they aren't important to his current goal, so instead he focuses on rescuing Kuro. What's more important is what happens in each of the memories. They leave some of the stuff surrounding the events muddy on purpose so you don't focus on them too much. Or it could be a bit of plot hole just because From tends to do this with time travel and flashback events. Perhaps the Oath wasn't originally meant to let someone live forever, but rather to provide a Divine Heir with an undying guardian since the one thing Kuro says he remembers Sekiro saying all the time is simply "As you wish". Maybe being resurrected for the first time affected his memory in a strange way. ![]() Other characters also act like Sekiro doesn't seem to remember anything between the Hirata Estate and waking up in the well. We hear from Emma that there was a time she treated Sekiro before the game but he barely spoke and Sekiro himself seems to have no memory of it. So this is a little more of my personal theory on the subject, but I believe it's because the Oath he made with Kuro affected his memory or behavior in some way.
